About Norah Lane Diets
When Norah Lane started her first private slimming Clinic, Vitaline, in 1976 ,she had struggled with a weight problem for years. So Norah understands how miserable, unhappy and isolated you can feel when you have a weight problem. Norah studied nutrition, psychology and metabolism and developed a revolutionary diet technique called the Burns, which involves eating small and often, so you are never hungry. It is a fact that this technique speeds up the metabolism and helps weight loss enormously – Norah lost over 4 stones.

Medical Approval
The diet programme is based on healthy eating – real food with no supplements – and produces good and consistent weight losses for all slimmers who follow the plan correctly. It was included in the British Council’s British Medicine Guide in 1978, and we have received many endorsements and referrals from the medical profession.

PCOS
Since then, Norah has continued to carry out research in order to achieve even better weight losses for slimmers. Norah has developed a special diet for women with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, which helps reduce symptoms and improve fertility. By the end of 2010, 300 babies will have been born to women who conceived naturally after following this diet.

Each person's metabolism can be different. If you have a weight problem, your metabolic rate can be slower than the metabolism of a slim person. These diets are only available through a fully qualified diet adviser who has passed the Royal Society fo Public Health examination. I trained with Norah and qualified as a diet adviser in July 2010 and opened a weight loss clinic in Market Deeping in September 2010. Private weekly consultations provide accurate weighing and measuring, plus important support and advice to help you succeed. The diets are suitable for all ages and medical conditions, with advice given for eating out and special occassions. The diets are also available through a telephone/postal or online course, with the same one to one support given.

After asking you to complete a confidential questionnaire, I will provide a diet that you will enjoy and it will not be difficult to keep to. It will be set out in an easy to understand formula, with no calorie counting. The diets will contain everyday foods with no pills, shakes or meal replacement bars.
