Many people come for acupuncture to help with specific symptoms or to relieve specific pains like osteoarthritis of the knee. Some use acupuncture because they feel generally unwell but have no obvious diagnosis. Others choose acupuncture simply to enhance their feeling of wellbeing.
DANIELLE WHITTAKER BSc MBAcC
Danielle has a degree in Acupuncture after undertaking a 3 year degree course at Leeds Metropolitan University. She has two years experience in the busy University Acupuncture Clinic treating a diverse range of conditions. She also practices Acupuncture at a clinic in Rawdon, Leeds.
Danielle is a registered Acupuncturist and member of The British Acupuncture Council and has undergone full Acupuncture training.
Prior to her acupuncture training, Danielle worked in the area of social care providing support to the elderly. In addition, she has a good background in western medicine after completing a years nurse training prior to embarking on a career in acupuncture.

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture is suitable for those with deep wrinkles, fine lines, bags under the eyes, sagging, puffiness, drooping eyelids, double chin, large pores, dry skin or acne.
CONSULTATION
Your initial consultation will enable me to get to know you and your symptons. This alongside some information about your medical history will lead to a personal treatment plan. At this stage you will have the chance to ask any questions and decide if acupuncture is the right treatment for you.
TREATMENT PLAN
Every patient is individual, so each treatment will be tailored to your symptons. During the treatment ultra-fine sterile acupuncture needles are inserted into the body. The needles will be retained for about 15–25 minutes while you relax. Depending on your condition and your response to the treatment will determine the course of treatment.
