As a therapist I place utmost importance on healthy living, but all treatments can be adapted to reflect individual needs. In many cases, complementary therapies and Nutritional Medicine can be used alongside conventional medicine, but it should be noted that they are not intended to be used in place of seeking medical advice whenever it becomes necessary.
Welcome to Lesley Potter - Feel Good (Nutrition and Complementary therapies)
Nutritional Therapy
Healthy eating can make such a difference to our health and well-being. Supplements can never replace the benefits of good food, but they can be supportive. Nutritional therapy uses food as the main tool, but combines this where necessary with vitamins, minerals and other nutritional products to achieve optimal health. Personalised action plans and dietary programmes can be provided.
Reflexology
Reflexology is based on the theory and belief that all organs, glands and parts of the body are represented by a reflex point on the foot or hand, and that applying pressure to those points may encourage the body to work more efficiently. Reflexology does not claim to diagnose, treat or cure a disorder, and while there is no real scientific explanation as to how this therapy works, practice shows that it makes many people feel better in themselves. Many doctors today recognise reflexology and recommend it to their patients for inducing relaxation.
Indian Head Massage
Head massage is a touch therapy that concentrates on the areas of the shoulders, neck, scalp and face. The treatment takes around 30 minutes and the client remains clothed whilst the treatment is performed. Oils may be used on the scalp at the client's request. Most people find Indian Head Massage brings about a general feeling of wellbeing, calmness and relaxation. As with all complementary therapies, there are instances where treatment is not advisable. The consultation prior to your treatment will ascertain whether it is suitable for you.

Testimonials
Kay - Needham Market .......
I had suffered with digestive problems and constipation for years, but as I got older the problems intensified. I had investigations and tests at the hospital but no problem was pinpointed. I was given various pills and potions but nothing really helped. I then visited Lesley for a consultation. She sent me a detailed report suggesting dietary measures and supplements. I bought all the supplements she recommended and stuck rigidly to the dietary instructions. Within days I was feeling so much better. My tummy was less bloated and going to the loo was much easier. Within a few weeks I was very regular and feeling very well. I had more energy and was not feeling tired all the time. The changes to my diet took a while to get used to and the supplements were not cheap but they were worth every penny. I am so glad I visited Lesley, who was very kind and friendly, and I will always be grateful for her help.
Debbie - Haughley ........
I look forward to my regular reflexology or facial sessions and find Lesley very accommodating, adapting a personalised treatment to include light aromatherapy massage for my arm, which has helped ease my tenosynovitis. My husband now also attends for aromatherapy sessions - Highly recommended.
