Our Services Footsteps offers a complete footcare service from simple nail cutting to more specialized work.
Our general services are simple nail cutting, corn and callus removal and general foot health advice. Unlike many services we charge a single appointment fee for all the work that needs to be done. We do not fix a time limit to appointments and charge for double appointments etc.
We also offer a home visiting service to those patients unable to attend our clinics.

About Us Footsteps Chiropody and Podiatry services was started by Guy Napper in 1997.
The business consisting of three island based clinics situated in the major towns of Ryde, Newport and Shanklin. Footsteps also offers home visiting to those unable to attend the clinics. In its first year Footsteps won one of the Shell live wire best new business awards in recognition of an outstanding new business.
Guy Napper is the company director and senior clinician at Footsteps. Graduating from the Plymouth university of Podiatry in 1990. Guy first came to the Isle of wight as an NHS clinician where he worked for 7 years eventually specializing in biomechanics and orthotics, with a special interest in paediatric biomechanics. After seeing the gradual deterioration of NHS services over those years, Guy decided to set up a top class private service that would allow island patients to access the very best in Podiatry services at a local level.
"I feel we have completed our initial goals now that we have in place some of the very latest technology in equipment, and with regular training and updates the knowledge base required to apply it. I would also like to think we have never lost sight of the personal touch along the way. Many of our patients have become good friends over time. I believe that a clients visit to us is an enjoyable and as many of our patients tell me a pleasurable experience.
