I use a holistic approach to treatments, looking at the whole person and not just focusing on your specific symptoms on the day. Your massage will be tailored to you, and what your body and mind needs, it doesn't conform to any set routine but will be adapted to your specific needs according to what you have told me during our consultation and what I find once the massage begin.
The benefits of massage are many; it has a therapeutic effect on the muscular, vascular, lymphatic and nervous system. It also has a profound physiological effect. Your massage can be either stimulating or soothing... you choose. It can leave you feeling totally relaxed, serene and at peace with the world, or invigorated, full of energy and ready to take on the whole world.
There are many conditions which respond well to massage and aromatherapy.All manner of muscular aches and discomfort.but also headaches, insomnia, depression, anxiety & stress, skin, circulatory and digestive problems.
Good health is something we take for granted when we have it and strive for when we haven’t. A feeling of well being can be very elusive.
Complementary or Alternative Therapies can go a long way towards keeping you healthy in mind, body and spirit.
I am a Professional member of the Federation of Holistic Therapies and am fully insured to practice by that organisation.
QUALIFICATION DETAILS
I trained first as a masseur, and then moved on to Aromatherapy, adding Indian Head massage on the way. I have City & Guilds Diplomas’ in Body Massage and Complementary Therapy - Aromatherapy, and a diploma from The International Institute Of Health And Holistic Therapies in Indian Head Massage.
In 2011 I added Hot & Cold stone Therapy and most recently Hopi Ear Candling
