Insightful application of nutritional and health science to help you understand how good food works for you.
About Nutritional Therapy
Nutritional Therapy is an evidence-based modality translating nutritional science into a practical and appropriate programme to help optimize individual health and well-being.
The application of Nutritional Therapy is a highly individual modality where no one solution will suit everyone. We’re all unique, and so need different solutions to our health issues. These solutions depend on a number of factors including inherited strengths and weaknesses, lifestyle, and environment.
About Me
Having studied for 4 years at the renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition to receive a CNHC-approved qualification in Nutritional Therapy, I work with clients to address nutritional imbalances that may be preventing them from enjoying optimal health.
I consider the factors that may be affecting you, and design a tailored programme taking into account your likes, dislikes, lifestyle demands and potential barriers to develop a workable, life-friendly plan to help you implement the dietary changes that may help you to enjoy an improved health status.
Finding a therapist that understands you and your motivations and concerns is fundamental to your success in reaching your goals. My aim is to excite and inspire you to make the changes you need by providing encouragement each step of the way through a unique coaching process.
How can I help you?
Typically, a client may come to me feeling ‘under the weather’, ‘run down’, or with a specific complaint and will ask for advice to explain how they could change their diet to optimise their health potential.
Areas that commonly arise include:
- Supporting healthy skin condition
- Optimising gastro-intestinal health
- Promoting healthy immunity
- Supporting healthy blood sugar balance
- Weight management
- Energy optimisation
From time to time, the consultation may reveal a health issue for which medical diagnosis should be sought, in which case a referral to your primary health practitioner (GP) would be made.
Consultation process
The consultation process lasts for 60-90 minutes during which a full history is discussed, and a nutrition optimization plan in identified.
Follow-up consultations are normally conducted 5-6 weeks later to discuss progress and to fine-tune the plan as required.
Consultations are currently available at Pure Sports Medicine @ David Lloyd, Raynes Park and in Twickenham, Middlesex.
Saturday and evening appointments are available as well as day time, midweek consultations.
Prices
Initial Consultations £96 inc vat
