Welcome
My aim is to provide a comprehensive mobile podiatry service to Glasgow City, Lanarkshire and Peeblesshire. It is designed for all ages and for all the family.
I intend to provide a quality and professional podiatry service for those people who cannot attend a clinic; maybe from ill-health, time restraints or simply prefer treatment in the luxury of their own home, holiday home or even your workplace. It does not matter.
I can provide diagnosis and treatment of your foot health problems and educate you as to how best to care for them so you can remain active, pain free and mobile.
I can contacted seven days a week between 9am and 7pm by mobile/landline, or by email/text message 24/7.
Call out is available in an emergency situation. If you would like more information, please contact us.
About me Ross H McIntyre BSc (hons) MchS
I qualifed from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2005 with honours. I am registered with the Health Professions Council, and a proud member of the Society of Chiropodists & Podiatrists.
I began working for the NHS full time as a podiatrist shortly after graduating. I cover all aspect from podiatry from routine footcare to nail surgery, diabetes foot screening clinics, biomechanics and orthotics and podiatric acupuncture.
My area of interest lies in podiatric acupuncutre. Since having accreditted training in western acupuncture in 2008, I have been astonished to the pain relieving and positive effects of this popular form of treatment to the foot, ankle, lower leg and knee.
Professional development is essential to remain up to date with new and changing ideologies and practices. To achieve this, I am currently working towards my post graduate diploma at Edinburgh Queen Margaret University. I regularly attend conferences; this year I was pleased to attend the Scottish Diabetic Foot conference, held in Edinburgh.
My future aspiration is to develop more into the private podiatry sector, to provide the highest standard of patient centred podiatry.
