This MOBILE service covers Bideford, Barnstaple, Torrington and surrounding areas.
Throughout each and every massage treatment, Healing Hands Therapy Massage, combines and applies a wide knowledge base, sometimes involving several techniques to achieve the best remedy for his client, including the use of essential oils as they benefit the body as a whole.
About Me - Andrew Walkiden
Andy, started his Holistic Medicine career in 2002, studying Aromatherapy Massage /Practitioner, Clinical Therapy Massage and Sports Massage, Anatomy & Physiology. Attaining all with a ITEC Diploma level 3 qualification. Since qualifying in 2006 with ITEC Diploma's from Northampton University, he has many years of experience with a wide variety of musculoskeletal injuries and problematic joints. Along with that, his portfolio has been attributed with a proven track record of achieving positive results for his clients, many of whom regularly return on a fortnightly or monthly basis.
Fees
One hour Therapy Massage is a FLAT RATE of £30.00 (including 15mins Consultation & Assessment)
Fee providing you are local to Bideford (including Appledore & Instow), Barnstaple (including Fremington, Yelland & Bickington) and Torrington.
If you live 5 miles or more outside these areas a nominal travel charge will apply.
Aromatherapy Treatment
With over 300 Essential oils extracted from plants, flowers, herbs, shrubs and trees from around the world, essential oils have profound therapeutic qualities to treat many ailments. Essential oils are blended to each and every individual client's treatment needs, so are unique from person to person. Aromatherapy is regarded as THE most RELAXING massage, using a range of movements that cause the body to steep into a soothing and calming state.
Focused on the superficial soft muscle tissue, the various massage movements used include; Effleurage, petrisage, Tapotement, friction, Cupping, Vibration and Stripping. Accompanied with using medium to light pressure through fingers and hands to your tired muscles, it is a gentle, comforting and soothing technique, which makes it a first choice therapy for regulating sleep pattern solutions, assisting with emotional needs due to suffering stress, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and fortifying the inner person. Clinical Therapy Massage
his is a massage technique concentrating on the connective soft tissue and muscle fibres of muscles around the body, used primarily to assist in relieving muscle tension build-up (Lactic Acid) causing headaches, pains, strains and also used in eliminating scar tissue. Sport Massage Treatment
Though this is a therapy technique aimed at treating 'Sport' type injuries, a Sports Massage is a deep tissue massage technique used in treating Chronic Pain, limited muscle/joint range of movement, muscles suffering from fatigue due to intense and vigorous exercise, muscle strain and the muscle tension pain of Lactic Acid build-up. It is a technique used on any muscle around the body, particularly neck/shoulders and legs.
