I work with you to identify what is preventing you from moving forward and help you identify the choices available to you and enable you to make the necessary changes to resolve present difficulties or to overcome past hurtful experiences.
We all have times in our lives when we find it difficult to cope. Talking to those closest to us is not always an option and so sometimes it is better to seek the help of someone who you know will be impartial and non-judgemental.
By talking through your problems we can work together to find the best solution for you and help you to move past the issues that are holding you back and stopping you from fulfilling your true potential.
About me
I am a fully qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor accredited by the National Counselling Society. I work in an integrative way and have experience of many different issues and problems which bring people to counselling. I work in private practice and in the voluntary sector, specialising in bereavement counselling.
I work to strict ethical boundaries as laid down by the BACP and everything we discuss is completely confidential.
I work from my home in Farndon, just outside Newark-on-Trent and have a comfortable quiet counselling room.
I offer a half hour initial consultation free of charge to establish your needs and for you to also decide if you feel counselling is the best way forward for you. This can either be in person or on the telephone. All sessions after this are one hour in length and cost £35.
I do offer reduced rates for students (with valid NUS card) and for those who may due to their circumstances find it difficult to meet the cost. This can be discussed at our initial consultation at your request.
