Homeopaths believe that illness is a sign of an inner disturbance and that the symptoms we experience are a sign of the body trying to resolve this. Whatever stress the body is responding to, the Homeopath aims to bring the patient to a state of balance, therefore relieving their presenting symptoms.
How it can help you
Homeopathy treats the patient rather than any specific condition so potentially it can help patients with a wide range of conditions, both acute and chronic.
Illnesses commonly seen by homeopaths in the clinic include recurrent infections (such as colds, tonsillitis, cystitis), skin conditions, menstrual and menopausal problems, chronic fatigue, migraine, and stress related symptoms such as anxiety and insomnia.

Kate runs busy practices in Clapham & Herne hill. It is her belief that Homeopathy plays a vital part in finding balance in our lives and therefore enabling us to cope with the stresses that life throws at us.
As well as running her practice she also feels passionately about educating others and holds regular workshops in Herne hill & Clapham, discussing Homeopathy and how to prescribe at home.
Kate became interested in Homeopathy as a teenager.
After years of taking medication for a chronic health problem she began to question whether there were other ways of looking at health. She had always believed that the emotions play a large part in our physical health and therefore Homeopathy made sense.
After experiencing the benefits herself, she then began prescribing for friends and family and it was not long before she felt her knowledge was limited and so began a BSc in Homeopathy. She is now a registered Homeopath with the Society of Homeopaths.
Kate lives in Herne hill, South London with her husband and two children. She loves walking in the park and swimming in Brockwell Lido.
