Hi, my name is Julie and I am a fully qualified and insured professional practitioner of Indian Head Massage, Swedish Body Massage and Aromatherapy Massage, I work from my treatment room in a quiet corner of Plymstock where peace, tranquillity and calm are assured, along with gentle spa music, beautifully scented candles, a heated massage couch and the softest of towels so get in touch, come have a chat with a choice of herbal tea whilst we discuss your needs, situation and what will the best way forwards for you, we are all different and your particular needs are paramount.
Well, I've been thinking today about ways to introduce massage and its many benefits to people who have never tried it or maybe think that it is something to be had only as a treat or luxury and sometimes rightly so, and there is not much that does feel quite as luxurious when done properly that's for sure!
These days its a lot more commonly known that massage is used to alleviate and give relief from many symptoms of many conditions and it really does help a lot! A lot of the time it can work alongside medical treatment too...
I thought I would start with Indian Head Massage, lots of people think it only involves your scalp but it really is so much more, it covers your upper back, shoulders, arms, hands, neck, scalp and face. I have picked out some moves and compiled a mini 15 minute routine that you can have as a taster session for only £5.00, you don't have to have oil, it can be done through the clothing and at 15 minutes it won't take up too much time either! Its a long enough session to start to relax and unwind your muscles and tension and for you to likely start to be curious about realising just how beneficial massage can be for so many things as it has now come in to its own and is recognised by many healthcare professionals and members of the public as an effective tool to enhance health and well being...
