Dianne is a registered osteopath and cranial osteopath and treats not just bad backs, but joints, muscles, neck, and many other conditions.
SERVICES Osteopathy is a healthcare profession that utilises a patient focused, physical approach to restoring, maintaining and promoting physical well being. Treatments take the form of a manual therapy involving massage, mobilisation and spinal manipulation as appropriate for each individual patient. Osteopathy has been helpful in the treatment of a wide range of conditions, (not just bad backs), such as generalised aches and pains, joint pain including the hip knee shoulder and elbow, arthritic pain, backache and neckache, some types of headache, sciatica, minor sports injuries etc.
Cranial osteopathy is a post-graduate branch of the main profession and can be used either on its own, or alongside other general osteopathic techniques. You might have heard people refer to it as “baby head massage” as it is commonly used to treat babies and children due to its gentleness, but it can apply equally to adult patients. Typical conditions seen in the clinic room are headaches, migraines, trigeminal neuraligia, eye and ear issues, sinus problems, lack of energy, generally lack of wellbeing, sleep issues, and baby colic.
