Limitless You is a Health and Wellbeing Practice, specialising in hypnobirthing.
I discovered hypnobirthing whilst studying for a Certificate in Clinical Hypnosis and falling pregnant with my first choice. After being so fascinated with how hypnosis could be used to change unwanted patterns of behaviour and help people manage pain, hypnobirthing seemed like a natural leap for me to make. After an amazing experience with my son, I went onto have another successful homebirth with my daughter, which essentially changed my life.
It was at this point I decided to give up a successful corporate career in publishing to spread the word to as many pregnant mothers (and fathers) as possible. The journey of labour and giving birth can be such an empowering and joyful experience if shown how to utilize the tools that we were born with in the most positive way. Sharing this knowledge is my passion and I hope to share this with you to help you create the birth you desire.
Why Hypnobirthing?
There are a multitude of reasons that parents come to see me for hypnobirthing and here are just few of those reasons:
- To decrease chances of medical intervention – inductions, epidurals, caesarean sections and episiotomy
- To create time to bond with baby prior to birthing
- To reduce the likelihood of requiring chemical pain relief
- To remain focused and confident during birthing regardless of how circumstances unfold
- Many parents report that their ‘hypno’ babies are born more alert, cry less, and sleep and feed more easily.

Having orginally trained with the Marie Mongan Institute of HypnoBirthing, I am now proud to be using The Wise Hippo Method. This is the newest, most modern and cutting edge approach on how to educate parents in hypnobirthing and the feedback is consistently fantastic.
In our classes you will learn how to deeply relax almost instantaneously, use visualisations, breathing techniques, self-hypnosis and affirmations, as well as gain a deeper understanding why and how you were built to give birth without stress.
The courses
Run over a period of 4 weeks the course gives you the time to learn, take on board and practice the skills you will develop in class. On completion you will have a tool box of skills that you can draw upon in any situation, leaving you feeling ready and confident. You will understand that you don't need to be Wonder Woman or part of a new age militant movement who laughs in the face of gas and air, in order to create the type of birthexperience you desire.
About us
My name is Suzy Ashworth and I am the founder and Senior Practitioner of Limitless You, Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy and Wellbeing Practice.
I set up the company after the birth of my second child, Coco June, my second wonderful homebirth. Actually, it was my husband's suggestion, we were talking about what an amazing experience it had been and he just looked at me and said that I needed to be teaching other women how to do this.
Before I became a Hypnotherapist and Hypnobirthing specialist, I worked in the media industry for 12 years, helping brands and organizations overcome problems and find solutions to their business and advertising needs; this was a role that I loved. However, once my passion for hypnotherapy took hold and I was able to experience first hand how Hypnobirthing techniques and philosophies, could provide women with a positive alternative to child birth, there has been no looking back.
And so, Limitless you was born. I suppose it was a bit like having twins….Kind of!
