What is Reiki?
Rediscovered by Dr Usui a Japanese scholar in the early 19th Century, it’s roots date back 2,500 years. Reiki means Universal Life Force energy or ‘Chi’ which flows within all living things. To understand how Reiki works is very easy, sometimes the life force energy can become blocked or weakened through any number of reasons such as physical dis-ease, emotional problems or work related stress.
Reiki works to release such blocks restoring a state of balance to the natural flow of energy whilst enhancing the immune system. Reiki not only treats the symptoms but goes straight to the cause, it knows exactly where to go.
