Reflexology
Reflexology is a sophisticated system of touch on the feet incorporating specific reflex points that correspond to other areas of the body. It is believed that these are connected by energy zones which can become blocked through stress and modern living. With the application of gentle pressure, these blockages can be cleared.
Reflexology is a powerful system of health care that is a way of keeping you balanced, promoting relaxation and continued well being.
Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy Massage uses essential oils that are naturally extracted from the flowers, seeds, fruit, leaves or bark of a plant. The oil usually retains the fragrance of the original plant material, but it is more intense.
Combining the power of touch with the sense of smell can, depending on the oils used, either induce deep relaxation or powerful stimulation of body, mind and soul. The highly potent essential oils are absorbed into the body via the skin to enhance both physical and physcological well-being.
Only the best pure, precious and organic essential oils are used. These are blended directly before each treatment to suit your individual needs and circumstances.
Remedial Massage
Despite the name this treatment is not exclusively for athletes. Even a day digging the garden or sat typing in front of a computer can cause lactic acid and adhesions to build up in muscles, thus restricting your range of movement and causing stiffness, pain and discomfort.
Sports/Remedial Massage helps to breakdown the adhesions, relax muscles that are in spasm and generally promote better posture and improve range of movement.
Reiki
Reiki is an ancient method of healing that involves channelling positive energy through the hands. This process can bring about immense physical and emotional calm and a deep sense of relaxation. This in turn can have a positive effect on the body’s responses encouraging vitality and wellbeing. Reiki's gentle energy may be used safely by people of all ages including newborns, pregnant mothers, the frail and the elderly.
A one hour treatment can be physiologically equivalent to 3 hours sleep.
Hot Stone Massage
Hot Stone Massage uses Basalt volcanic rocks that have been smoothed. These stones are applied to key points on the body to warm up the muscles. The weight and heat of these stones make this treatment far deeper and more effective than an ordinary massage.
Crystal Therapy Treatments
Crystal Therapy Treatments combine the benefits of energetic healing with the therapeutic properties of crystals. Crystals have been used throughout history for their healing properties, with different crystals being used for various physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Indian Head Massage
