At some point in our life, it is usual to feel like life is getting on top of you - you may feel stuck, low, stressed, etc. Often our personal relationships don’t offer us the help and support we need and we look outside of ourselves. Counselling or psychotherapy can help provide a non-judgemental place to explore your thoughts and feelings and get yourself back on track. Sometimes, it is the relationship itself that needs healing and some couple counselling will put you back on track to a healthy, loving relationship.

I also offer EMDR which is recommended by NICE (National Institute of Cinical Excellence) as the treatment of choice for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). See NICE guidelines. EMDR integrates elements of a number of different psychotherapies and is designed to target traumatic memories, making them less distressing. In working with couples, I have a particular interest in Imago Relationship Therapy.
