SERVICES
Welcome to Meridian TherapyMore than 3,000 years ago, Eastern physicians began to understand that the well-being of the human body depended upon the balance of subtle energies flowing through channels, or meridians, and that illness was inevitably linked with an imbalance in these energy flows.
Restoring the balance was shown to have a powerful positive effect on healing, not only on physical symptoms, but also on mental, emotional, and spiritual problems, and this understanding formed the basis of the Eastern philosophy of medicine and healing, which continues today.
This knowledge and philosophy underlies the healing modalities I offer in my present day practice.

About Audrey
Audrey initially studied 5 Element Acupuncture at the College of Traditional Acupuncture, U.K., graduating in 1995. She also completed several years of TCM training at the College of Integrated Medicine in Reading, as well as further studies in the United States and France. She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council.
Over her career she has continued with regular post-graduate training, with a particular interest in Infertility.
Further professional development has been in Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) to Master Level, which she now incorporates within her acupuncture practice, especially in the field of Stress Management.
She has also trained in Emotional Freedom Technique with Gary Craig in the U.S.A.
Her background in Health Care started 30 years ago as a State Registered Nurse, specialising in Cardiac Care, subsequently she became a State Certified Midwife, and Certified Health Visitor.
Her major interest in health and well being has stemmed from a strongly held belief that our bodies have an inborn and innate intelligence and ability to self-heal. Acupuncture works with the body to stimulate this self-healing ability, and promote the body’s return into balance and harmony. Audrey’s greatest passion is to empower and educate her patients, so that, having regained a state of well being, they have the acquired ability to remain healthy.
