Barbara Ewing Dip.CTH, is a qualified Colour Therapist who has recently set up her practice in Leatherhead, Surrey.
Barbara has spent several years learning about complementary therapies. Her enthusiastic personality drew her to colour therapy, and she found the positive results of applying this therapy in her own life. The empowerment she felt from this was so real, that she wanted to share this with others.
Barbara's caring qualities have enabled her to successfully treat individuals who have been able to turn their circumstances around with positive thinking and the physical effects of colour therapy. She is experienced in the use of the various tools involved to promote healing on a physical level as well as emotional and spiritual level.
Barbara offers individuals the opportunity to unlock energies within them and empower them with the tools to achieve constant balance both in their everyday life, and their dealings with others, regardless of their circumstances.
Barbara also offers groups/companies consultancy on the motivation of their staff, along with décor advice, to aid their business growth and success.
Treatments
Colour Therapy can aid pain relief and physical recovery through natural healing techniques enabling the body to 'repair' itself internally. Colour Therapy can be administered with various 'tools' which include:
Coloured Silks
100% pure silk filters light directly onto the skin or absorbed through auric field, enabling coloured energy frequency to affect cellular behaviour.
Crystals
Energy is extracted from crystals and affects the metabolic system.
Crystal Torch
Concentrated coloured light is applied to specific areas causing cellular changes affecting physical ailments via the endocrine system.
Solarised elixirs
Pure mineral water solarised by the sun's energy or quartz crystal elixirs are administered topically or internally.
Light Box
Full spectrum light box with coloured filters is absorbed by the optic nerve directly affecting the brain's release of chemicals to aid cellular activity (approved and supplied by S.A.D. organisation).

"From the first session I was not really too sure on the whole idea of it, but after the first session I felt completely relaxed and forward to the next one.My second session could not come at a better time!! "I didn’t have any particular physical ailment which I needed or wanted the colour therapy to treat. However, I do feel that at each session the issues or sections which were treated were actually where I was feeling bad or had existing problems. I think overall the visualisation was more effective for me. Or at least I felt like more was happening. "After each session I felt relieved of the particular symptoms I had explained to Barbara that I was experiencing; stomach disorder as a result of a duodenal hernia, cold sore and associated symptoms, headache, sore eyes and throat. "I have completed three treatments with Barbara now, and certainly consider the therapy worth pursuing. I have two specific ailments - degeneration and consequent arthritis in my right knee following a sports injury 30 years ago and also a wider arthritic susceptibility, particularly at the moment in my thumb joints and in one finger. I have had a positive reaction in all three sessions, although to varying degrees. My knee has definitely felt more comfortable for a couple of days after each treatment, but the effect has, to date, lasted no longer than that. Nevertheless, any relief from what is usually a persistent low-level ache has been very welcome. Similarly, the effect on my thumb joints has not so far lasted beyond a few days, but the initial impact of the treatments, in terms of much reduced sensitivity to any pressure and hence less pain, has been quick, very evident and again very welcome. More generally, Barbara has made a point of explaining everything she is doing and why, and to my mind conducts the consultations in a thoroughly inclusive and professional manner."
