Hi my name is Barry Maguire and I am a fully qualified personal trainer and myofascial therapist. I have studied long and hard around rehabilitation from injury having suffered many injuries over the years myself. I have always been frustrated by the inability of Doctors, Physios and others to help me.
Back pain, Shoulder Pain etc which is caused by muscle imbalances will not be solved by pain killers and injections. The only way to solve this problem is by finding out what is causing the muscular imbalance and fixing it.
The way I do this here is by giving the client a posture assessment and then a movement assessment.
Once i have established what is causing the injury i set to work MYOFASCIAL RELEASE TECHNIQUES to loosen and lengthen any connective tissues which may have shortened or tightened up.
Once the client is balanced out again,a programme of corrective exercise can begin to strengthen and retrain the body's muscles so that the imbalances don't reappear in your body structure.
I base my business on the results i get for my clients and as a result a high percentage of my clients are from referrals.
