About the Therapists
Adrian Dickinson
Adrian Dickinson has a background in education, having taught in various independent schools for 28 years. He trained as an Analytical Psychotherapist, qualifying in 1990, and has had a full-time private practice since 1996. He has worked as a Supervisor and Tutor at the Westminster Pastoral Foundation, and as an Assessment Psychotherapist at the Student Counselling Service at University College London. He has been the School Counsellor at Merchant Taylors' School, Northwood, since 1996.
He is a Full Member of the British Thought Field Therapy Association, and of the British Complementary Medicine Association, and subscribes to their codes of ethics.
Carlota Eslava
Carlota Eslava was born and educated in Colombia, and has a degree in Psychology from the Xaverian University in Bogota. She trained in Systemic Family Therapy at The Institute of Psychiatry in London in 1988, and gained a PhD in Child and Family Psychology at Birkbeck College, University of London, in 2004. She worked as a senior lecturer in psychology at different universities and also in private practice with families and couples in Bogota. She has been working in this country as a Family Therapist in NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services for the last 10 years, and is currently working in the Child and Family Consultation Service Team at the West London Mental Health Trust. She offers therapy in Spanish and English.
She is a Member of the Association for Family and Systemic Therapy, and is registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy, and subscribes to their codes of ethics.
