This friendly and confidential counselling service is run by Julie Ovett who has several years experience in general practice. Julie is a fully qualified and Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and is also a member of their coaching division working within their code of ethics. She is experienced in working with a wide range of issues including:

I have also worked successfully with clients with Mental Health Issues, Eating Disorders, Chronic Ilness and Asperger's Syndrome.
I see clients Privately as well as having experience of working within an NHS GP Surgery, an HIV Charity and a Rehab Centre.
Depending on Individual Needs I work using a Humanistic Model of Counselling including Transactional Analysis, Person Centred, Gestalt,Trauma Therapy, CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and, Trauma based therapy. I have also trained in working with Eating Disorders and Sand Tray Therapy.
Also offered are telephone, online, email and Skype counselling, please ask for terms and conditions.
Fees are £45 per session and £55 for couples. This can be negotiable in special circumstances.

QUALIFICATION DETAILS I have a BACP approved Diploma in Humanistic Counselling based on Transactional Analysis and a CPCAB level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
I am also a Graduate of The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
I continuously work to improve my professional development by taking courses throughout each year.
I am accredited with UKRCP United Kingdom Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
