Services
The following treatments are available; reflexology, aromatherapy, reiki and auricular acupuncture.
The treatments provided have health and general well-being benefits and clients are encouraged to build stress management treatments into their life schedule to prevent the onset of serious health conditions. The treatments are available both at the Sidcup treatment centre and at your home or workplace by prior arrangement.
Purple Body and Mind are able to tailor their treatments to the needs of individuals providing a relaxed and unhurried therapy experience the director, Jacqui Morris, holds ITEC diplomas in aromatherapy, massage and reflexology and is a level 2 practitioner in reiki, auricular acupuncture and smoking cessation. She is also a qualified occupational therapist with many years of NHS experience.

Jacqui has extensive experience working for the NHS and provided complementary therapies for South London & Maudsley NHS Trust in Addictions and for psychiatric in-patients.
She is also a qualified Occupational Therapist with experience in acute and community mental health and a Smoking Cessation Advisor for Bexley.

Reflexlology
£35 an hour
A gentle, relaxing treatment applied to the reflex areas on the feet or hands with thumb and finger pressure. Any problems experienced in both body and mind benefit as reflexlogy helps clear congestion and rebalances your body so it can start to heal itself. Reflexology is beneficial for many conditions including; insomnia, infertility, mood disorders, stress and general well-being.

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy utilises natural essential oils, to create wonderfully fragrant and therapeutic blends. Aromatherapy oils are specially chosen and blended for each client and their presenting condition.The oils are both absorbed through massage and inhaled to produce a powerful effect on both body and mind. A luxurious relaxing treatment benefiting many disorders including; muscular aches and pains, arthritis, insomnia, hormonal problems, digestive problems, mood disorders, fatigue, stress anxiety, and skin complaints.

Reiki
£35 an hour
Reiki is a non-invasive treatment applied over clothing. It involves working with the energy that is all around and within us. When the flow of energy is disrupted disease can result. Reiki therapists help to channel energy to enable the body to start to heal itself using a technique called 'palm healing'. It will leave you feeling calm and balanced. Reiki is beneficial for many conditions including; bereavement, severe stress, insomnia, fatigue, infertility, mood disorders and many physical complaints.

Auricular Acupuncture
£25 an hour
Auricular acupuncture is applied to the ears. Through the ears we can access every gland, organ and tissue in the body. Auricular acupuncture allows us to treat many condtions by the insertion of tiny pins which help stimulate the bodies natural healing. Acupuncture has it's origins in China although auricular acupuncture has been further developed in the west. It is beneficial for many conditions including; arthritis, hormonal inbalances, stress related conditions, insomnia, high blood pressure, muscle or skeletal pain and addictions.
