It is effective in helping treat almost any illness and can be used in conjunction with conventional medicine. This helps relieve stress and pain on the body, releasing toxins to promote healing and create a state of relaxation and wellbeing.
Reiki is given through the transfer of energy from the practitioner to the patient so that the patient is then able to heal themselves. It can be given as a treatment or can be taught to anyone who can then self treat or treat others.
About Reiki
Reiki [pronounced Ray-Key] is a Japanese healing method that supports the body's natural ability to heal itself, delivering energy [ki] to the 7 main energy centres [Chakras] within the body via the practitioner's hands to the patient.
The patient's body draws the amount of energy from the practitioner's hands only taking what they need thus enabling them to heal themselves. This re-establishes the flow of energy through the body and promotes health and a state of wellbeing.
CoursesReiki is divided in to 3 main divisions, First Degree, Second Degree and Third Degree/Master, each one becoming more in depth than the last.
First Degree
This focuses on the meaning of Reiki, the history attached to it and how it can be passed from teacher to student. It then looks at how to use the Reiki energy to heal yourself and others through observation and thorough practical hands on training. The nature of the course also enables personal and spiritual growth which will continue long after the course ends.
Second Degree
With this course you will gain a deeper understanding of the art of Reiki, learning how to use the ancient Reiki symbols. This will enable you to focus and intensify the Reiki energy to help specific areas of imbalance whether it be a physical, mental or emotional complaint. You will learn Distance Healing using the Reiki symbols so you can help with the healing of others - even if that person lives on the other side of the world. You will be continuing on your journey of personal and spiritual growth.
Third Degree/Master
Here, you will learn how to initiate, teach and train others in the ancient art of Reiki. You will be given access to the Master Symbols used to initiate students and be taught how to pass on and teach future Reiki Practitioners. You will also get the opportunity to assist in the delivery of future Reiki courses if you feel that teaching is the right path for you. However, many choose to learn Third Degree purely for personal and spiritual growth.
