It is well known that stress has become more and more evident in our everyday lives and when people are under stress, it can often cause other symptoms and problems. Complementary therapies are safe, natural and non-intrusive and can help greatly to reduce stress levels and balance the body. With many therapies, the whole person is treated - physically, mentally and emotionally - re-balancing and helping the body to heal itself.
Reflexology
Reflexology is based on the principal that there are reflex points on the feet that correspond to every gland, organ and part of the body and is an unique technique using thumbs and fingers on these reflex points to help relax, reduce stress & tension, improve circulation, unblock nerve impulses and encourage the body to heal itself. Reflexology is holistic and works on the body as a whole, working well alongside orthodox medicine.
Relaxing Scalp Massage
Using a blend of Tibetan Acupressure & Indian Head Massage, this relaxing massage of the scalp, face, neck, shoulders and upper arms aims to bring balance and harmony to the mind, body and soul and to support the body's natural ability to heal itself. Treatment is performed fully clothed.
Massage
Choose from back, neck & shoulders or full body, your therapist will use pressure to suit you, to soothe away everyday stresses and tension.
Angelic Reiki
Angelic Reiki is a relatively new system of energy healing which is very similar to traditional Reiki. Reiki is a truly holistic treatment which works on all levels - physical, emotional, mental & spiritual.
Hopi Ear Candles
Hopi Ear Candles (also known as Thermo-Auricular Therapy) are hollow tubes traditionally made from organically grown flax with extracts of honey, beeswax and herbs. Ear Candling is a non-invasive treatment and may help treat a variety of conditions of the ear, nose & throat. Please note however that although this treatment may prevent build up of ear wax, it is not strong enough for excessive wax removal.
About Me
I am a fully qualified member of Association of Reflexologists, the Federation of Holistic Therapies www.fht.org.uk and the CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council) and I continue to keep my training and skills up to date with regular advanced training courses.
