From a very early age (it is funny that most people tend to start off like this in this line of work), I knew that I was sensitive to energy and spiritual things.
In particular I would see things which other people couldn't and in addition I would feel the palm of my hands heat up for no reason what so ever (I believe now that this was latent Reiki). It took me a long time to realise that I had a purpose which wasn't what I doing in my day job. However, my logical mind stopped me from accepting the path which I was going down. Then around 12 years I met and married my wife Debra and she gave me the confidence to follow the path which I had not accepted for so long.
In December 2008 I was very fortunate to study under Jill Cooper (Reiki Master) the Reiki first degree of Usui Shiki Ryoho. Then in August 2009 I completed the Reiki second degree (Practioner). Normally there is a gap of around two to three years before you undertake your Master Teaching level and the first degree. However, I had been allowed to do this early and I then completed my Master Teacher levels (Reiki III) in May 2010. This was a great honour for me and I hope that I am able to teach others Reiki in the many years to come.

Now at the tender age of 45 I have been very lucky to study mediumship and Reiki for many years and I still classify myself as a developing medium and student of Reiki. Please let me be clear that this is solely the way that I work and not how other Reiki practitioners would.
One of the questions that people continually ask me is what conditions do you think that Reiki would help? My answer is that it can help mostly all conditions and is not just conditional to human beings as well. I have used the reiki energy on animals and plants in the past so its ability is limitless.
My hope is that we can use the connection that I have with the higher realms to give messages of love and light where appropriate and desired. My aim also to relay the Universal Life Force energy which is around us all to really help and heal.
Finally, how much do I charge for each session. Generally most sessions last between one to one and half hours depending on the person that I am seeing. The cost for each session is between £20 to £30 depending on my discretion.
The tuition costs for learning Reiki are:
* - Reiki I is £150
* - Reiki II is £175
* - Reiki III Master £200;
* - Reiki III Master Teacher £250
(the costs of the two day courses include all of the documentation that you need but exclude any residential costs).
About Glenn
I was born in July 1967 in a little village called Llanbradach in South Wales. I married my wife Debra in 2000 and she is my best friend and soul mate.
We have had 12 great years together and we renewed our vows last year as well. We have three children, two girls and one boy (who is now 20)! At the tender age of 45, we have moved quite a lot over the last 12 years, mostly with my work and we even had 11 months in New Zealand which was pretty amazing. We now live in Chellaston, Derby and I hope to be here a little longer this time.
I have been lucky as well to serve with the Royal Military Police Territorial Army for a short while, which taught me a lot about myself and about people in general.
I enjoy listening to music of all sorts and of course Reiki, Mediumship and generally trying to spend as much time with my family as I can.
Reiki for me is a way of life, although I accept that there are days when I find it very difficult to hold to the five principles. That said, I do try every single day.
My ultimate goal in life would be to stop my work in Human Resources and to set up a Wellbeing Retreat where people could just come and stay, stop, meditate and once again connect with themselves. All to often people are told to connect with their Spirit Guides, Healing Angels etc, without really connecting with their own soul first.
