SERVICES About Sahaja Yoga - spontaneous yoga.
Self realisation occurs when the Kundalini, a dormant energy within us, is awakened. This energy brings into balance the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of our being and makes us more peaceful and joyful. Sahaja Yoga meditation meetings enable you to learn how to achieve, master and maintain this state of being as you go about your daily life and also how to give others the same experience. It’s often likened to the idea of ‘one candle enlightening another’. All your questions will be happily answered. Your own Kundalini energy is ready to be awakened now. Know thy self!
Meditation..... and then... establishing Yoga
True meditation is a state of deep peace where the mind is absolutely calm and silent, yet completely alert - a state of being known as 'thoughtless awareness'. Throughout history, mystics, saints and prophets have spoken of this experience. They removed themselves from society, sought ways to cleanse themselves of human troubles and devoted their lives to achieving their spiritual ascent. Their aim was to achieve 'self realisation' - a state of being where the human spirit becomes one with the Divine, where fear and anger are replaced with joy, contentment, inner balance and peace.
Through Sahaja Yoga, this experience of ‘thoughtless awareness’ is now possible for every human being, effortlessly. Meditation helps you evolve. Meditation raises resistance to stress. More meditation, less conflict.
Sahaja Yoga meditation classes help attendees to achieve a deep state of peace and spiritual awareness in life.
Try Sahaja Yoga meditation classes and see for yourself the improvement to your mental, physical and emotional state.

Testimonials - reviews.....
Natalie Singh: Harrow The meditation was a wonderful experience for me, as when I went for the first time I knew nothing about meditation. The people running the meeting were friendly and helpful, answering any questions I had. The meditation itself was relaxing yet energising at the same time. Altogether the meeting was enjoyable and informative and I would certainly recommend trying the meditation. Ten out of ten!
Kate C: Walthamstow: I was looking for meditation, not yoga specifically, and I managed to achieve a thoughtless state at my first meeting. The people were very friendly and made me feel welcome, it didn't matter that I had no experience of meditation before. I will definitely return to the meeting and find out about other meetings going on across London as they are all free of charge and you can just turn up and join in. The meditative feeling stayed with me for some time afterwards and I understand that I have to meditate regularly and keep my Kundalini awakened to maintain it. So simple and accessible to everyone, I strongly recommend it, please try!
Nick Dortz: Willesden: I have attended several meetings at this small and cosy Covent Garden venue and the atmosphere is always wonderfully inviting. The evening is composed of a short introductory talk and then a series of silent and powerful meditations interspersed with a video. The whole evening is beautifully relaxed and at the end of the program you leave the hall with a sense of peace and well-being that I've never felt anywhere else. Highly recommended as a means of unwinding from a stressed week or discovering more about your spiritual side.
Jeremy Clancy: Streatham: Not very many things are free in this world! And the stuff that is free is usually a waste of space... So when you find something that doesn't cost anything whilst being absolutely life changing - it makes you happy, doesn't it? ANyway, not to sound too OTT but that's genuinely what I discovered at the meditation meetings in Covent Garden. Over the last few months I have managed to find by attending the classes there that I can choose to think when I want to and not all the time (like I used to) - not only that but I feel really happy too - and that is invaluable!!
Gautama Payment: Battersea: Learning to meditate in a group environment is a deep and nourishing experience, and extremely relaxing. Instruction is free and clear, and take-away material is also provided to support you back at home throughout the week. The staff are also knowledgable and experienced, and were able to answer my questions. I'm really happy with the experience and will be going regularly. Thanks!
Luis Garrido: Southall: One of the best meditations sessions I have tried. Very relaxing and yet re-invigorating leaving me in an alert and joyous state. The people running the program are very experienced in the technique and the cultural background of yoga and meditation.
