SERVICES
Hello and welcome, I’m Sally.
I am an experienced and qualified Counsellor as well as being in advanced Psychotherapy training. I provide services from premises in Weymouth and Dorchester and have clients from both Somerset and Dorset. I am experienced in working with Couples, Individuals and Young People. I specialise in Relationship work.
I am a registered practitioner for Relate Dorset and South Wiltshire. I also provide counselling services to a local College and other private and public sector organisations.
Relationships bring us happiness or present us with what might feel like complicated challenges. You may be experiencing difficulties or working through a period of change. Some people enter into therapy with specific goals, others might not know. It might be that further into the work you gain more clarity about what it is you wish could be different, both are okay. Our relationship will be important in order to help you explore in a safe and confidential way what is happening for you. I am trained to work with clients on a short and long term basis.
I am passionate about what I do and am genuinely inspired by the way people discover more about themselves and what they want to achieve.
About Me
Counselling and Psychotherapeutic approaches covered in my training are: Person Centred, Psychodynamic, Systemic, Transactional Analysis and Life and Executive Coaching
My qualifications are as follows:
- Counselling Skills – level 2 – CPCAB
- Counselling Studies – level 3 – CPCAB
- Children’s Counselling Certificate – Relate Institute – (written by Margot Sunderland.)
- Advanced Diploma – Relationship Counselling – Relate Institute – Hull University – level 6
- Foundation Certificate – Transactional Analysis, Iron Mill College Exeter
- I am in Advanced Psychotherapy Training – Transactional Analysis, Iron Mill College Exeter – level 7
- Life and Business Coaching – Final Assessment – Distinction
I have a Masters in Human Resources which means I am Chartered MCIPD qualified in People Management and Development. My experience prior to this was in the Private and Public Sector including Travel, Fashion Retail, Consultancies and Local Government.
My registered practitioner number for Relate Dorset and South Wiltshire is 10049.
I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and work to their code of ethics.
I am also a student member of The United Kingdom Association of Transactional Analysis.
I am a member of COSRT College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists.
I am fully insured.
