Welcome to Sally Marler
Sally Marler has an M.A. from Oxford University; a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (London Institute of Education) and she is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Senior Accredited).
She is an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist working in Oxford in private practice; she has been in this field since 1983 and, before that, she was in teaching: she is still very much interested in students and their problems.
Her professional interests include: stress, bereavement, depression, couples counselling and the problems of step-families.However, for her the individual who comes to her is paramount: the whole person rather than the problem is of greatest importance.
Her theoretical approach is primarily psychodynamic. She has a strong interest in Jung's work and also integrates some other approaches (e.g. Transactional Analysis).
