Clinical hypnotherapy means using hypnosis to treat a variety of medical and psychological problems. It does not deal with problems that are organic in origin but those that are due to emotional and psychological sources. It is estimated that 85% of people will readily respond to clinical hypnotherapy and that it may succeed where other more conventional methods of treatment have been slow to produce the desired results.
A hypnotherapist helps by communicating with your storehouse of learned patterns and behaviours, crossing the bridge from the conscious to the unconscious mind. All our memories are stored there, and have an important effect on the way we live our lives. Most of this information is helpful, but sometimes we pick up problems through repetition or trauma which our inner mind retains, and later can become unhelpful or even harmful. The hynotherapist communicates with your unconscious mind, giving it new instructions, allowing it to make positive changes safely and naturally, with no harmful side effects.
Hypnosis can benefit the following:
IBS Stress management Weight Control Self Confidence Performance anxiety Exam nerves Fears and Phobias High anxiety Panic attacks Pain control Sleeping difficultiesImproving memory Concentration Blood pressure Compulsions Self image Childbirth Eating disorders Stopping Smoking And more...
