Hypnosis is a natural trance like state that we all experience up to four hours each day.The most common everyday trance like states are found when we daydream, surf the internet and lose track of the time , watching television or even the monotony of driving a car that is known as highway hypnosis.

The self-control that is needed to remove any negative thoughts, feelings or actions greatly improves once you have learnt to tap into your inner resources and steering those resources towards a new positive direction. The sub-conscious mind does not recognise negative thoughts, feelings and actions and the words can't, shouldn't or won't are examples of these negative words, so if you say to yourself whilst on a weight loss programme " I just cannot seem to lose weight" you will probably be unaware you are telling your mind and body NOT to lose weight.
