About Us
Simply Homeopathy was created by Lesley Isaacson and Diana Owen, homeopathic practitioners who have been studying, teaching and working together for 20 years. Lesley & Diana have worked as a team in delivering training courses for homeopaths, supervising trainee homeopaths and encouraging collaboration and study in the homeopathic community. Their practice reflects their belief in the potential of homeopathy to change lives not only symptoms. They feel it is essential for personal growth to have ongoing homeopathic treatment and supervision. The mutual support of weekly meetings has been invaluable in developing philosophical understanding and practical skills through discussion and reflection on all aspects of homeopathic practice. Since graduating from the College of Homeopathy in 1983 and 1988 respectively, both Diana and Lesley have continued their studies with Joseph Reves, a contemporary homeopathic master. His spiritual yet very practical approach has enriched not only their work, but their lives as well. They acknowledge their gratitude to him for his inspiration.
Their homeopathic practices have been nourished and influenced by a life long commitment to holistic living and health, embracing yoga, Buddhism, organic food and good nutrition. These philosophies enable them to bring to the consulting room a depth of wisdom and understanding which supports and sustains their practice.
Lesley lives and works in Ruislip. She has trained in counselling skills and supervision and has been teaching yoga since 1979 (www.yogajourney.org.uk.) She trains teachers for the British Wheel of Yoga (www.bwy.org.uk) and is the current Education Chair of the BWY. She regularly writes feature articles on the interface between yoga and homeopathy. Lesley is on the register of the Association of Classical Homoeopaths (UK).
Diana lives and works in Twickenham. She has trained in Buddhist counselling and psychotherapy through the Amida Trust (www.amidatrust.com). She is a qualified homeopathic supervisor. Diana is an advocate for natural birth being present at the home birth of 4 of her grandchildren and was a champion of the organic movement once owning two organic shops. She is on the register of the Association of Classical Homoeopaths (UK)
