Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Techniques (NAET®)
Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Techniques (NAET®) are non-invasive, drug free, painless, and can be used on a one day old infant to anyone of advanced age. They are a natural solution to eliminate allergies permanently of all types and intensities using a blend of selective energy balancing, testing and treatment procedures from Acupressure, Allopathic, Chiropractic, Nutritional, and Kinaesiological disciplines of medicine. One allergen is treated at a time. If you are not severely immune deficient, you may need just one treatment to desensitize one allergen. A person with mild to moderate amount of allergies may take about 15-20 office visits to desensitize 15-20 food and environmental allergens. Basic essential nutrients are treated during the first few visits. Chemicals, environmental allergens, vaccinations, immunizations, etc. are treated after completing about ten basic essential nutrients. How is NAET different?
Currently, conventional medicine has several methods for diagnosing allergies. The intradermal test, patch test, scratch test, and various blood tests such as the RAST test and the ELIZA test are used. The standard treatment is drug therapy using either antihistamines or steroids to control allergic symptoms. Unfortunately, this does not correct the underlying problem and often the allergy sufferer experiences serious long-term side effects. The most effective treatment option until now has been complete avoidance of the offending allergen(s), which can be difficult and in some cases impossible. NAET therapy retrains or reprograms your brain and nervous system to no longer react to the offending substance.
What is NAET?
An individual can be allergic to anything - foods, drinks, pharmaceutical drugs, herbs, vitamins, water, clothing, jewellery, chemicals, paint, silicone, latex, plastics, pollen, grasses etc. Allergy symptoms can range from mild to debilitating reactions to life threatening reactions. From a Western medical point of view, an allergy is an over-reaction of the immune system. In NAET (an allergy elimination technique discovered in 1983 in America by Doctor Nambudripad), allergies are viewed from a holistic perspective based on Oriental Medicine principles and defined in terms of the effect an allergic substance or emotion has on the energy flow (meridians) in the body.
An allergy is a condition of unusual sensitivity of a person to one or more substances which may be harmless to the majority of other individuals. In the allergic person, the allergic substance (known as an allergen) is viewed by the brain as a threat to the body's wellbeing. When contact is made with the allergen, it causes blockages in the energy pathways, disrupting the normal flow of energy through the body's electrical circuits.
This energy blockage causes interference in communication between the brain and body via the nervous system, which begins a chain of events that can develop into an allergic response.
" NAET (Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Techniques) is a synthesis of various disciplines such as acupressure, chiropractic, kinesiology and nutrition, and utilises muscle response testing, which indicates the kinetic imbalance in the body caused by allergens. The NAET treatment stimulates pressure points along the spine whilst the client is holding an allergen. Specific acupuncture points are massaged and the substance must be avoided for 25 hours following treatment for best results. Allergens are normally cleared one at a time in specific sequence.
