SERVICES
Reflexology is a deeply relaxing holistic treatment that involves stimulating specific areas, or reflexes, on the feet. Each reflex corresponds to particular areas throughout the body. Stimulating these reflexes allows the body and its systems to restore equilibrium, therefore encouraging the body to heal and repair itself.
This therapy addresses a wide range of complaints. Some potential benefits of this gentle treatment include:
reduced stress and related conditions
better sleep
helps to focus and feel 'grounded'
increased energy-levels
improved digestion
a sense of emotional well-being
a stronger immune system.
I am a mobile reflexologist, (up to a 10 mile radius from Lewes, East Sussex) and provide treatments in the comfort of your own home. I have a very comfy 'Lafuma' recliner chair, supply clean towels, use home-made organic shea-butter based foot ointment and bring soothing music (though if you prefer your own music, that isn't a problem!).
If you are someone who is not sure if reflexology is the therapy for you, I can provide you a 'taster' treatment which lasts for half an hour and costs just £10.00.
If you then decide to continue with further treatments (which take approximately one hour) then I charge £150.00 as an advance payment for a block of six treatments.
If, however, you prefer to Pay as You Go, then I charge £30.00 an hour.
While reflexology is a very safe and gentle therapy, you would be subject to a full consultation, which is confidential, and takes about 10 minutes. This is required for insurance reasons, and to ensure you are suitable for treatments.
My current client base includes private individuals, including regular referrals from the Motor Neurone Disease Association to treat patients in their own homes. Reflexology has proved to be very beneficial to my clients affected with this disease.
Other clients include elderly residents (and staff) of a local Rest Home, and again, reflexology is a very welcome 'treat' for all concerned.
I am also a fully qualified Katseye Theraputic Aromatherapy Blend Consultant and can provide tailor-made products using these wonderful synergistic and theraputic aromatherapy blends to help conditions related to:
stress, tension, anger, high blood pressure
sleep problems, mind-chatter
emotional issues, depression, anxiety, turmoil
joint and muscle pain
skin complaints, eczema, hormonal imbalances
pregnancy
asthma and hayfever
