What can I treat?
Problems such as headaches, insomnia, sciatica, lower back pain, neck and shoulder discomfort can all be helped with a firm but sympathetic deep tissue massage.
What therapies do I use?- Myofacial Release Techniques melt away the tightness which builds up under the surface of the skin, allowing muscles and joints to move more easily. Tennis elbow and similar problems benefit from this technique.
- Hot Stone Massage introduces heat to the experience, warm stones are used for the massage and laid on the body encouraging a deep sense of relaxation and warmth to joints and muscles.
- Aromatherapy oils are very effective in the treatment of many conditions such as colds, allergies, insomnia and muscle strain. A full consultation is given to determine what would be most beneficial.
- Pregnancy Massage is only advised after the first trimester of pregnancy, after which some essential oils can be used if the client wishes. Lower back pain and tired legs are soothed and relieved by this treatment which can be given either seated or lieing.
- Hopi Ear Candles can bring relief to problems such as ear pain when flying, sinusitus, tinitus, ear wax problems. This is also very relaxing and includes a facial massage.
- Reiki is a healing treatment given with the client fully clothed. A relaxing treatment which can be of benefit on a physical and emotional level.
