This ia a private practice offering Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Hydrotherm Massage, HOPI ear candling, Facials, Back, Neck and Shoulder, Reiki Healing, Chakra Balancing and Allergy Testing. All treatments are client led and never hurried, I aim to help you with your specific problem be it aches and pains, stress, anxiety, depression and worry. All treatments can be carried out on warm water filled cushions to ensure your comfort and to make the experience as pleasant as is possible, alternatively on a relaxer chair if you have mobility restrictions.

Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage is a very ancient form of massage developed 5,000 years ago in the Himalayan region of India, and throughout India it is still a very normal and integral part of daily life.
The treatment can be carried out either on the Hydrotherm® cushions lying down or seated. Oil is used to enhance the experience. Your face, head, neck, shoulders and upper back are massaged using various movements, none of which are painful although if an area is particularly tight some discomfort may be felt, A thoroughly relaxing treatment.

A deep, profoundly relaxing and beneficial massage technique, enhancing the effects of treatment into a new dimension, you experience a wonderful feeling of total revitalisation, regeneration and harmony.
Your entire treatment is carried out while you lie face up on warm water filled Hydrotherm® cushions, which assist in perfect spinal alignment so no discomfort from the couch; you do not turn over so no discomfort from the ‘face hole’. The warm water filled cushions support your weight, the therapist works by sliding her oiled hands between you and the couch, tense tired muscles soon relax on the warm cushions which also enhances the comfort and effectiveness of treatment.
A completely unique massage system designed to enhance your massage experience, if you enjoy body massage you will be ‘bowled over’ by this system.
Usui Reiki
Reiki - £10

Reiki (pronounced RAY-KEY) is a Japanese word meaning universal life energy, an energy which is all around us.
The treatment is carried out lying down on the warm water filled Hydrotherm® cushions or relaxer chair, listening to relaxing music. The therapist will place her hands gently on you from the crown of the head down to the feet. Each position is held for a few minutes, the energy stimulated releases stress and encourages your body’s natural healing.
Cleansing Facial and Massage
Facial - £18
The treatment is carried out lying down on the warm water filled Hydrotherm® cushions or relaxer chair. Your face is cleansed using an organic cleanser. This is followed by a relaxing face massage, which encourages drainage of toxins. After being cleansed again a mask is applied and while this is on you can either rest or have your hands massaged. Finally the skin is cleansed, conditioned and a moisturising cream applied.
A wonderful way to spend time relaxing, just for you.
Reflexology
Reflexology - £20

The treatment is carried out reclining on the warm water filled Hydrotherm® cushions or relaxer chair. Reflexology is a therapy dating back thousands of years. This treatment works on the principle that certain reflex points on the feet correspond to certain areas throughout the body. This treatment can bring relief from a wide range of conditions.
You will recline on the couch, after removing your socks, the therapist will gently but firmly apply pressure to areas over the feet, you may feel areas of tenderness, sharp pain or grittiness, it is normal to feel this and is shows an imbalance or a build up of toxins in that area. It is useful to let your therapist know if you do feel this.
Reflexology is very relaxing and you may feel drowsy during a treatment, you could fall asleep, this is perfectly all right the treatment is still affective even if you sleep right through.
Thermal Auricular Therapy (Hopi Ear Candling)
Thermal Auricular Therapy - £20
Ear candles have been used as a therapy since ancient times, historical roots can be found among the peoples of the Siberian prairies, Asia and the native North and South American Indians.Treatment is carried out with you laying on the couch on your side, the candle is placed in the ear and allowed to burn down, this can take anything from 7 to 15 minutes, the second ear is then treated, the candle is held at all times. This is followed by a face massage to facilitate better drainage of the ear, nose and throat area
The treatment induces a pleasant feeling of warmth and a balance of pressure in the ears, forehead and sinuses. It is soothing and helpful for earache, headache, ear noise, stress and many other conditions.
Back, Neck and Shoulder Massage
Back, Neck & Shoulder Massage - £15
Again carried out on warm water filled cushions, you lie face down and with the use of oil back, neck and shoulders are massaged. A relaxing and therapeutic treatment for minor aches and pains
The Nuture Experience - (Hen parties)
Myself and three equally qualified therapists offer a service for girly nights in, hen party, or anything along these lines offering your quests the chance to try various therapies ranging from Reflexology, Indian Head Massage through to Colour Healing a wonderful way to spend the evening with friends, and an excellent alternative to the usual hen nights. Price is on application and dependant on the number of guests.
Chakra Balancing
Chakra Balancing £30 a treament lasts about 1.5 hours
Do you feel our of balance, stressed and just 'under par' - we all say I just don't feel myself, I am out of sorts. It is thought that everybody has energy points/centres throughout their bodies, called Chakras it is thought that if these are out of balance we can feel down, depressed, anxious, tired and just off colour. I offer a balancing treatment using candles, a very relaxing treatment, it is hoped you will leave feeling completely relxed and back on form.

Do you feel bloated, tired suffer headaches for no apparent reason these and many other symptoms can be because of food intolerance, you should make sure with your GP there is no underlying reason for symptoms but if nothing else is evident it could be a food intolerance.

AFTER CARE
After receiving any complementary therapy the advice is to ‘listen to your body’. You may experience some reactions; this is a normal part of the healing process and should be short lived.
Following all treatments please try to drink extra water, most of the treatments can increase the flow of lymph through the system. Your bodies ‘waste disposal’ will be working hard so drinking plenty of water for at least 24 hours will help this, and give you the best benefit from any treatment given.
If you have had your ears candled, please avoid loud noise for at least 24 hours, do not go swimming or get water in your ears for at least 24 hours.
Please avoid alcohol and smoking, if you can, for the next 24 hours, to give your system chance to clear out toxins.
Finally if you have any concerns however small please do not hesitate to pick up the phone, leave a message I will always ring you back as soon as I am able.
And bear in mind that complementary treatments do not work overnight, it is often an ongoing gentle improvement and more than one treatment may be needed, your body took some time to develop the condition/symptom and it may take some time for your body to eliminate it.
All treatments are client led, if there is any discomfort, difficulty or special conditions treatment will be tailored to your personal situation where possible.
