Hiring me as your life coach gives you the opportunity to have, as one of my clients put it, "some quality time with yourself." During our time together you can examine your life as it is now and your life as you want it to be in the future, and work on a way to bridge the gap.
Exciting things can happen when you focus, set yourself a goal and then work to achieve it. Energy seems to appear from nowhere, and making even the smallest change often leads to a domino effect so that, before you know it, powerful, positive shifts have happened in your life! As your life coach, I can help you stay focused, keep you motivated and generally cheer you on from the sidelines.
I do not give you the answers to your problems and I do not make changes for you. After all, I don't know you or your circumstances as well as you do! I will, however, ask you direct and challenging questions that will help you to find the right answers for you and solutions that will fit into your life.
You will need to put in some hard work to make changes in your life, but this work will help you to achieve your wildest dreams.

As your coach, I cannot change your life for you - as the old saying goes 'you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink' - but with true cooperation and a will to succeed between us as coach and client, you can change your life beyond your wildest dreams.
Coach and client are truly equal in this partnership because if either side fails to do the work, the results suffer. My responsibility is to empower you by bringing your strengths and capabilities to the fore and helping to get rid of limiting beliefs and other obstacles. Your responsibility is to use this new self-awareness in powerful ways: to complete the challenges we set together, achieve the weekly goals and to notice and communicate with me about any changes that come up on the way. I then act as a cheerleader from the sidelines as you make fantastic changes in your life.
Life coaching typically takes place over the phone, at a pre-arranged time to suit you. Face-to-face sessions are also possible, if you prefer.
Sessions last between 30 minutes and an hour, during which you will need to be as free from distractions as possible and ready to devote your attention to the questions I will be asking you.
You may have something in mind which you particularly want to work towards, or you may want to discuss your situation more generally, with a view to setting goals for different aspects of your life as we work together.

Somebody once coined the phrase ‘positive not perfect’ and this is my aim for myself and for my clients. I have learned over the years to play to my strengths and to learn and grow from every situation life throws at me. I have also learned to take myself a lot less seriously and life a lot more seriously!
Having had considerable experience of relocation and of weight loss as life changing issues, I particularly enjoy coaching around these areas. I relocated to France ten years ago after a lot of soul searching and preparation, then relocated back again less than a year later (for love, I hasten to add, not because I didn’t like it there!). We consider moving back there again every so often, so I know very well how knotty the decision can seem when you are in the middle of it!
I battled with my weight from childhood, yo-yoing dramatically and trying every miracle diet going. I’m now at a good weight for me and have been for several years. It feels fantastic – not only to be slim and full of energy, but to be free of the burden of feeling I ‘should’ lose weight. I also very much enjoy running now, something that I would never have dreamed of when I was overweight.
I’m very happily married to Richard and we have two beautiful daughters, Emika (7) and Trinity (3). I have spent five years teaching English, both in UK secondary schools and TEFL in France and England. During my time teaching and in other roles, I often found myself motivating and helping people plan and achieve their goals. When I was told about life coaching, it felt like the idea had been tailor-made for me. The rest is history!
