Welcome to Stress solutionsThe term "holistic medicine" came from the unification of the mind and the body. Holistic practitioners treat the whole person as opposed to the individual organs of the body where symptoms occur. The importance of self care and preventing illness are stressed by holistic practitioners.
At Stress Solutions clinic, our practitioners are dedicated to serve and provide treatment that would best suit the condition and patient as a whole, to bring about a healing result. Taking the whole body into account to treat a particular part I hope you can see from the selection of treatments that other types of treatment may be necessary for the condition.
What I am basically saying is because everyone is different you could probably never give a similar treatment or therapy described in this website because these treatments are guides. A patient may come in and say he/she has a leg length difference (bad back or sciatica) and would like a hip check treatment but in actual fact more of the imbalance maybe at the neck. With this in mind you can be assured that your practitioner will, to the best of his or her knowledge help find the root cause of a problem or condition and work with this.

About Matthew BrownellMatthew Brownell L.C.S.P. (Full) graduated from the internationally renowned Northern Institute of Massage. The institute is committed to the continual upgrade and development of its study material and methods, providing a "continuous learning development program" for its graduates. Since achieving his qualification with the institute, Matthew has completed a variety of further courses of study relevant to his work including treating patients with diabetes, spinal dysfunction and how to treat it, sports injury treatment, reflexology and Bowen technique. Matthews' most recent studies have fast tracked him through the Upledger Institutes’ Craniosacral Therapy courses levels 1 and 2, in London.
Whilst treating patients for one particular condition Matthew uses his skills to assess the whole body system and energy.
Matthew's mother, Pauline Brownell, was responsible for the creation and teaching of the first holistic courses at South Trafford College. Pauline provided tuition for Matthew from a very early age creating a strong healing lineage for Matthew’s work.
Matthew studied in the field of martial arts (Wing Chun) under the tuition of a Chinese master Michael Tse and Yip Chun (Yip Man, Yip Chuns father taught Bruce Lee making Matthew Brownell the third descendant of the art.)
