We offer a wide range of Yoga Classes including Beginners Yoga Introductory Courses, Hatha, HOT YOGA, Integral & Vinyasa Flow Yoga and specialist classes such as Ante-natal Yoga, Post-Natal Yoga, Baby Yoga as well as Pilates, Tai Chi and Meditation and Mindfulness.

Operating as a social enterprise we are in business to make a difference, not to pay shareholders a dividend- find out at contact/about us.

We have a fabulous on-site Coffee Shop offering a home-made range of soups, smoothies, rolls, salads and cakes.

Our studios, treatment rooms and relaxation area double up as ideal Meeting Venues for training, meetings and conferences and private hire. Professional therapists offer a wide choice of health-promoting and stress-relieving complementary therapies, we also house a Hairdressers and Beauty Therapy.

Situated in Bury St Edmunds, just off the A14, with very easy access for East Anglia. We have plenty of parking available.

Our Classes

yoga

There are many different styles of teaching yoga, but they all focus on the same postures (asanas) of which there are thousands so you’ll never get bored!

Our Beginners 8 week course is perfect for introducing you to all styles and postures, but there are other classes that welcome beginners. Hatha Yoga has a more gentle relaxing pace and covers postures, breathing and relaxation. Some classes focus much more on the alignment and precision in a posture, whilst Vinyasa has a more flowing and casual style using the Salute to the Sun as a basis for the sequences of poses, occasionally with music.

Hot Yoga

We also offer hot yoga classes in our FAR Infra-red studio, which has many health benefits as well as being a great way to open up inflexible areas and detoxify the body.

pilates

The Pilates Method is not just a series of exercises but a complete approach to developing body awareness. It concentrates on developing the strength of the core stability muscles and in doing so improves posture alignment. It is highly recommended for those with back injuries or postural issues.

tai chi

Tai Chi Chu'an is an ancient Chinese system of exercise, meditation and self-defence. With it's gentle and harmonious movements it is suitable for all ages and all levels of fitness. it enhances flexibility, respiration and balance, whilst utilising the internal power of the body for healing and meditation and self awareness. Our teacher Martin studies the 103 step Yang Style Tradition and has had first hand tuition from the Yang family from China.

Qi Gong

Qigong is an ancient movement practice and literally means ‘life energy cultivation’. Gentle, repeated flowing movements are used to smooth and harmonise the energetic flows of the body, resulting in a state of balance
and equilibrium. Repeated practice results in greater balance and health in all areas of life and helps us to meet stressful situations in a state of clarity and calm.

Qigong is very gentle and can be practised at any age and in any state of health.

mindfulnes meditation

Mindfulness is our Western take on Meditation, an ancient practice enabling us to quieten our "chattering monkey mind". Many studies have been carried out on the health benefits of Mindfulness or Meditation click here to read some

Our 6 week Course is in non-denominational mindfulness meditation and beginners are welcome. Mindfulness is one of the hottest topics in the field of mental health today, and regular sitting shows measurable benefits in brainwave patterns within only a couple of months.

yoga nidra relaxation

Yoga Nidra is a deep relaxation class. You start with some gentle stretches and then learn some breathing exercises to help you relax. Visualisations and soft music are used to enable you to let go of the stress in your life and learn to deeply release tensions..............it is the most wonderful thing!
