About Us The Complementary Therapy Centre began in Retford in 2005 as Mindcraft Therapy when Mark Sheppard qualified as a hypnotherapist. The practice quickly grew from strength to strength, mainly through word of mouth and recommendations from clients. Seeing the changes Mark was able to help his clients make in their lives and the change that working as a therapist had made in Mark’s own life, Julia Sheppard made the decision to give up her job as a successful company director to retrain as a complementary therapist and join the practice.
As Mark and Julia continued their professional development they were able to offer more and more services and treatments until Mindcraft Therapy eventually outgrew their home-based clinic. The decision was made to move to a dedicated treatment room in Newark on Trent and to change the name to The Complementary Therapy Centre to reflect the wide range of holistic treatments available.
The Complementary Therapy Centre are now able to offer a whole range of treatments and services including hypnotherapy, NLP, reflexology, Swedish Massage, Indian Head Massage, Hot Stone Massage, EFT and reiki healing through their clinic in Newark on Trent, Nottinghamshire.
