Reflexology uses the principle that every organ and system of the body has a corresponding point or zone on the feet. A reflexology practitioner uses light pressure to massage each of these points in the toes, feet and ankles. The intention is to release tension in these areas, remove energy blockages, disperse accumulations of calcium and uric acid, stimulate blood circulation and promote healing of both body and mind.
Maternity Reflexology

As a trained maternity reflexologist, I can offer relaxation and massage to ladies planning a pregnancy, during pregnancy and after the birth to help with recovery. I can also help new mums to use reflexology to calm and soothe their babies.

Reiki is a form of 'energy healing'. Reiki practitioners believe that illness is caused by a disruption in the body's energy field or life force. It is believed that the body can be filled with positive energy, clearing any negative energy that could be causing the disease. Reiki aims to balance the physical, mental and emotional aspects of a person, so in that way it is truly holistic in nature and promotes general wellbeing. Reiki sessions cost £35 per hour or buy three and get one free.
Reiki Courses
If you would like to become a Reiki practitioner then contact me to book a course or for more information. Reiki courses run throughout the year at The Garden Room, Ashburton, Devon for up to 3 people. For larger groups (maximum of 6), courses are held at The School of Complementary Health in Exeter.
Reiki First Degree
This course teaches how to give Reiki to friends and family and teaches about the history of Reiki. You will learn the hand positions and how to give Reiki to yourself and your pets. I also teach how to use Reiki with other complementary therapies.
Ten hours over two days, including manual and certificate: £95
Reiki Second Degree
Taking this course allows you to become a Reiki Practitioner. You will be able to send your Reiki Lineage and certificate to your Professional Association in order to get public liability insurance and can charge for your Reiki sessions. You will learn three Reiki symbols and there use and meaning. Also you will learn the principles of how to give Reiki at a distance and how to give Reiki in a seated position.
Ten hours over two days, including manual and certificate: £150
Master/Teacher
This course is the Master/Teacher level that allows you to teach Reiki to others if you choose to do so. You will learn how to initiate others into the first, second, third and advanced levels of Reiki and will be introduced to the master symbols, their uses and meanings. Guidance with writing manuals will also be given. Fifteen hours over three days, including manual and certificate: £350
Advanced Reiki Training
This course can be taken either before, after or instead of the Master/Teacher level. It is suitable for all Reiki practitioners including those who do not want to teach. The course involves gaining knowledge and practicing advanced skills such as meditation, using a crystal grid, psychic surgery, using the Antahkarana symbol. It also introduces other types of Reiki.
Ten hours over two days, including manual and certificates: £200
Karuna Reiki ®
Karuna 1 practioner, 1 day course
Karuna 2 practioner, 1 day course
Karuna Master 1 and 2, 2 day course
It is required that a student must be qualified to Advanced or Master Level Usui Reiki before taking any level of Karuna Reiki ®. Contact me for further details of these courses.
