Katharine Bright is a qualified nutritional therapist who uses the power of food to maximise your health and wellbeing.
I am passionate about using food to help people overcome health problems. There are so many conflicting messages about what to eat in the media and I believe in giving my client's the tools to optimise their health and feel the very best they can. My website offers a free resource for my client's with lots of healthy recipes that appeal to all the family.
What happens during a consultation?
I take a full past and current medical history and look at your diet and lifestyle to come up with a highly individualised dietary plan. I understand that we are all unique and have our own requirements.
An initial appointment will last 90 minutes and is a discussion about your body, your current diet and any medication or supplements that you are taking. Once this is complete the discussion will continue to your treatment protocol mapping out what would be appropriate taking into account your lifestyle. I then do further research after your appointment and will email you a nutrition protocol for you to follow. I will follow this up with email support should you need it.
Preparing for your first appointment
Please bring with you any medication/supplement that you are currently taking (please write down the brand, name and dosage - or bring the box(es) with you.
You will be emailed confirmation of your first appointment along with a week's food diary. This is very important and needs to be filled in truthfully as it will be needed to analysis your current strengths and areas that need improvement.
A follow up consolation will take place 6-8 weeks later and will last 45 minutes where your progress will be discussed and assessed and any changes can be made.
Initial consultation (90 minutes): £120
Follow up consultation (45 minutes): £60
