At The Massage Business we offer a mobile massage service to businesses in the Hampshire area.

Massage is an ideal way to relieve stress and promote well being in the workplace.
Each 15 minute session is tailored to the needs of the client. Many people opt for a neck and shoulder massage, where I am able to target areas of tension in the head, neck, shoulders and back often created when working at a desk or under stress for prolonged periods.

I am also able to offer

• Head Massage - to help with headaches and migraine.
• Hand and Arm Massage - to relieve the symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome.
• Foot and Leg Massage - ideal for runners.
• Facial Drainage Massage - to relieve the symptoms of sinusitis, tinnitus, colds and congestion

It is ideal to have a separate space to perform the massage, in a quiet area if possible. I have a specially designed massage chair, which minimises the space needed. I can either use a quickly absorbed cream or massage without, making it the perfect therapy for the workplace.

The price is £40 per hour. We can offer a weekly, fortnightly, monthly or quarterly service

We are able to provide a variety of services to cater for almost any event, such as:

• Provide a stand to educate about health benefits of massage.
• Provide taster massages at a corporate event.
• Give talks to educate about health benefits of massage.
• Provide 15 minute massages at fundraising events, fun days and well being fairs.

About me

My journey with The Massage Business began 15 years ago, with a vision of creating a holistic well being service that focused on restorative therapies.

I am passionate about the therapeutic use of massage and alternative therapies to treat a variety of both physical and mental (or emotional) complaints.

I qualified firstly as a masseuse and found that not only was I able to ease many muscular conditions such as pulled ligaments, tennis elbow and back pain, but that I was also able to help alleviate symptoms associated with conditions such as ME, MS, Parkinsons Disease, Stress, Depression and Migraine.

The next stage in my journey was to explore alternative therapies that would complement massage. I began to explore the benefits of ancient spiritual healing techniques such as Indian Head Massage and Hopi Ear Candling and this enabled me to progress further towards my vision of providing a holistic service to my clients.

My next focus was to expand the business from a one-to-one mobile service to a holistic service that could benefit a wider clientele. This is still an ongoing project, but I have so far introduced the benefits of massage to a variety of workplaces, to pre and post natal classes and to the elderly in a sheltered housing setting.

This has finally led me to explore the Beauty Therapy aspect of well being and to train in a variety of treatments including manicure, pedicure, waxing and tinting. I found that these treatments can provide a variety of benefits and allow me to help clients to boost their self esteem, and can often be vital to groups such as the elderly and the long term sick to maintain personal grooming.

 We now have 4 Therapists, serving a diverse clientele, through workplace massage; pamper parties; elderly community pamper days; carers group pamper days, whilst still offering a one to one mobile service.

 My vision for the future is to expand my knowledge of the therapies that we offer and to ultimately be able to pass this on through teaching and mentoring. This, I hope, will allow me to nurture a like minded team of therapists to carry my business further.
