What is Bowen Therapy?
Bowen is a relaxing therapy consisting of gentle rolling movements over specific muscles. These are combined with regular pauses which are an important part of the treatment, giving the body a chance to respond to the moves.
What does it do?
Bowen relaxes the muscles, allowing a more natural position and balancing the body, easing aches and pains and reducing the risk of injury.
It also has wider effects and can have a profound effect on mood, energy and stress. Many people report a general sense of wellbeing after treatments.
So while many people may think of Bowen Therapy for injury and pain, it is equally effective with PMS, menopausal symptoms, stress and sleep problems as well as asthma and hayfever.
In fact, it is worth trying for any condition which is making you feel 'under the weather'.
Who is it for?
Anybody - it is safe for people of all ages and conditions, from babies to the very elderly and pregnant women.
How much does it cost?
£30 for adults
£20 for children
A cancellation fee will be charged if less than 24 hours' notice is given.

"After a nasty fall on my coccyx, I had a few sessions of Bowen from Tina. I'm not sure how it works but I certainly felt more comfortable and relaxed about moving around afterwards and I believe it helped me." (40-something!)
