I am a fully qualified Reflexologist and Foot Health Practitioner, with a relaxing clinic located on the first floor of Damhouse – a beautiful listed building set in natural woodland in the heart of Astley. There is ample free parking and a lovely tea room on the ground floor, open 7 days a week.
Reflexology
Reflexology is a complementary therapy based on the belief that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands that are believed to correspond to all organs and parts of the body. Reflexology works on an individual basis and may alleviate and improve symptoms such as everyday stress and tension.
During a typical reflexology session, I will take a detailed medical history followed by a full treatment. Sessions are performed on a comfortable treatment couch. You will be asked to remove footwear and socks. I will make a visual and tactile examination of your feet before beginning precise reflexology massage movements. The particular types of movements involved require the application of an appropriate pressure using my thumbs and fingers.
Reflexology can be a wonderfully relaxing experience where you can take time out from everyday pressures. My expert touch will help you relax which can improve mood, aid sleep and relieve tension. The result is an overall sense of wellbeing.
I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists and registered with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council.
Foot Health
I also offer a full range of Foot Health services including nail trimming, the treatment of corns, callus, cracked heels, ingrowing toe nails, fungal & thickened nails and verrucas.

From January, I will be offering Hypnotherapy and am currently looking for volunteers who are interested in receiving hypnosis for relaxation.
