TreatmentWorks is based in Chislehurst, Kent and is run by a husband and wife team - Lin and Brian Lawrence . In addition to being a REIKI MASTER TEACHER , Lin is a fully qualified (level 3) REFLEXOLOGIST and holds diplomas in Auricular Therapy , better known as HOPI EAR CANDLING, and INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE. She is a member of the Association of Reflexologists and is registered with the Complementary and Natural Health Council.
Brian has studied and is qualified in several therapies, including INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE, UPPER BODY MASSAGE and HOPI EAR CANDLING , but HAWAIIAN LOMILOMI MASSAGE is the one in which he specialises. He is a member of the Association of Physical and Complementary Therapists.
The main therapy room is completely private and dedicated solely for the purpose of carrying out the treatments offered. It provides a beautiful and tranquil setting to enhance the experience of your visit. For concurrent client sessions, other private rooms are available. Shower facilities are available.

TREATMENTS
LOMILOMI HAWAIIAN MASSAGE……LomiLomi is the name used today to describe traditional Hawaiian massage: a luxury, full body massage using long, continuous strokes creating the impression of waves flowing over the body. Different parts of the body may be massaged at the same time. Exotic oils are used in the massage to deliver the ultimate in relaxation, de-stressing and de-toxification. It leaves you feeling chilled, balanced and at peace with the world. This treatment aims to bring the body back into balance and instils a deep sense of peace, harmony and well-being.
Lomi Lomi can benefit all areas of your health, well-being and self-awareness. It cleanses and relaxes the body, both physically and spiritually, in order to achieve internal harmony. It improves circulation, relaxes tension spots and relieves pain.
This luxury and unique massage can last from 60 to 90 minutes.
REFLEXOLOGY......Reflex areas on the foot approximate to the body’s anatomy. The Reflexologist applies a gentle pressure massage to the feet so stimulating your body’s pressure points. This helps to balance body and mind to work in harmony and unison and creates a feeling of well being and optimum health.
You will rest comfortably, fully clothed, on a therapy couch and the treatment starts by relaxing both feet with a gentle massage for five minutes before the reflexology treatment actually begins. If you have a particular health problem, ie, high blood pressure, constipation, stress or perhaps you are in some sort of pain, these areas are particularly worked on through the feet. To finish you will be given a 10-15 minute foot massage with foot cream, which clients describe as simply heavenly. If you don’t float out of the room after treatment - you will be the first. Treatments last 60 minutes – longer than most other reflexology treatments you can find elsewhere. Even then clients never want the experience to finish!
HOPI EAR CANDLING…..Hopi Ear Candling is an ancient American Indian practice providing a gentle and natural treatment to clear the ears and sinuses, relieving such conditions as sinusitis, tinnitus, rhinitis, headaches and stress. It as a pleasant and satisfying, non-invasive treatment of the ears which soothes, relieves and relaxes.
The candles are made from the natural ingredients of beeswax, honey extracts, sage, St Johns Wort, chamomile, beta-carotene and organically grown flax. They work on a chimney principle, drawing any impurities to the surface where they can be gently removed.
The treatment lasts 45 minutes and concludes with a gentle face massage
REIKI HEALING..... a gentle, non-intrusive healing therapy, restoring balance and recharging the body's natural energy. The treatment is done with the recipient lying down, fully clothed and covered by a blanket. It can be "hands on" or can take place "in the aura" above the body. Reiki works on all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual and helps to relieve tension and stress and promote a deeper state of relaxation.The treatment lasts from 45 to 60 minutes, with the longer version including a ten minute foot massage and a gentle five minute head massage.
INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE ......Our Indian Head massage uses and adapts classic Swedish massage techniques (with more than a hint of LomiLomi!) for treating the scalp, face, neck, shoulders and upper arms. It is done lying on a therapy couch and is extremely effective for treating stress because it works on the areas most affected thereby. The treatment lasts for 30 minutes.
UPPER BACK, NECK AND SHOULDER MASSAGES.....This treatment is similar to the Indian Head massage, but extends to the whole back , arms and hands, and, in a longer form, can include the legs as well. The treatment lasts from 30 to 40 minutes.
