Is counselling for you?
Wellspring is a Counselling and Training Centre established in 2003. We offer a professional, confidential counselling service in our comfortable and peaceful premises.
The service is offered to anyone regardless of gender, sexual orientation, ethnic or cultural background and to people of any faith or none.
We are experienced in working with many kinds of issues including:- Bereavement
- Loss
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Relationships
- Spirituality
- Abuse
- Confidence and Self Esteem
If requested we are also able to offer the opportunity to integrate issues of faith and spirituality into counselling.
We do not work with issues of sexually offending behaviour, severe active addictions or severe and enduring mental health issues
To make an appointment you will need to telephone Wellspring yourself, even if counselling has been recommended by your GP, Community Mental Health Team, Church Leader, Social Services or other care provider We will then arrange an Initial Assessment appointment for you to discuss how we may be able to help you Appointments are available during the day or early evening and all appointments take place at our premises in Starbeck which are accessible to people with disabilities.
