About me
Sarra is a Qualified Iyengar Yoga teacher at Introductory Level. She started training with Alaric Newcombe in London in 2006 and continues to attend his classes. She is also preparing to be a Junior Intermediate level teacher with Richard Ward in Bath.

Sarra has been teaching yoga for the past 7 years. Initially she recieved the International Yoga Alliance 500 hours certificate through Ruth White Yoga in 2002. She has since found the clarity of the Iyengar method a safe and thorough method for teaching people of all abilities.

Sarra is also a Bharatanatyam dancer, which is an Indian Classical dance style from Southern India. She has spent many months in India over the past fifteen years, namely in Chennai, learning from teachers from The Kalakshetra College of Fine Arts.

Yoga Class Prices
First Class is £2
Courses start at £6.50 for 5-10 weeks
Drop-in £9.50

* Rudgwick Class is held at the Jubilee Hall on the first thursday of every month.

**Horsham Class will start May 10th



Advice and Cautions

  • Wear comfortable clothes, like shorts and t-shirt, or leggins and fitted top. Yoga is practiced in bare feet to avoid slipping.
  • Allow four hours after a main meal or two hours after a light snack before class.
  • If you are menstruating certain asanas are not suitable so please consult the teacher at the beginning of the class.
  • At the moment the classes are not suitable for pregnant ladies, as this requires specific knowledge and guided practice.
  • If your medical condition changes you must inform us in advance of class
