Welcome to Yoga Siromani
At Yoga Siromani we are passionate about sharing the benefits that yoga can bring in helping to maintain and increase physical and mental health and well being. Irrespective of size, age or ability we have a class, course, or workshop for you. Our health should always be our first priority, so in these difficult times take a moment to reconnect, rebalance, and re- energise. Make your health and well-being the priority in 2010.
I am delighted to announce that we are now offering Yoga Classes in SW18. Our great new venue The National Opera Studio can be found in the heart of Wandsworth High Street, SW18 (opposite Southside shopping centre), is easily accessible by train, tube and bus and will now host two classes an evening on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, as well as courses and workshops on Saturdays.
Our yoga courses in South West London include Beginners 1 courses geared towards complete novices to yoga, Beginners 2 courses for those with some experience of yoga wishing to improve and develop their practice, Intermediate Courses for experienced yogis interested in deepening their understanding and practice of yoga,Pregnancy courses to aid mums in having a wonderful experience of pregnancy and help towards delivering happy healthy babies .
We also run regular specialist coursess and workshops in Stress Management, Weight Loss, and retreats year round both in the UK and abroad.
About Us
Patricia Ezechie is the Director of Yoga Siromani. She has been practising yoga for over twelve years and holds yoga teaching qualifications from both the Sivananda School and The British Wheel of Yoga.
Patricia was a Director and Customer Relationship Marketing Consultant to blue chip companies for over 10 years. She has completed a postgraduate qualification in the Psychobiology of Stress, and runs a software business delivering bespoke teaching aids for yoga professionals. Her unique combination of skills, professional background and experience and knowledge of yoga and its benefits, gives her a profound understanding and insight into how yoga can be used to help to reduce stress and tension, and help bring and maintain balance in everyday life.
She is committed to introducing others to the benefits of yoga and how it can help them to exist better in the world, how it can enrich their lives, and how it can help them to stay connected, maintaining both physical and mental health.

This course is geared towards complete novices to yoga, and introduces the fundamentals of Hatha yoga to help build a solid and safe foundation for future practice.
Suitability: Absolute Beginners, those with limited experience.
Duration: 10 weeks

INTERMEDIATE Wednesdays (7.30pm - 9.00pm)
This course is geared towards experienced yogis wishing to deepen and develop their practice by undertaking more advanced postures and techniques.
Suitability: Refreshers, Experienced
Duration: 5 weeks , 10 weeks or Drop In.
Cost: £120 full course (10 weeks)

This course is geared towards those who have completed the Beginners 1 course, or are looking for a refresher course to reintroduce or develop their practice .

BEGINNERS YOGA INTENSIVE - FUNDAMENTALS OF YOGA AND BASIC POSES (Saturdays, 10.30am - 1.30pm)

Have you ever been to a yoga class but felt overwhelmed because every one else seemed to know what to do and what was going on but you were lost?
Have you tried a class but had such an awful expereince that it has put you off yoga?
Then the Beginners Yoga Intensive session is for you! The workshop has been designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of yoga and the basic poses in a safe and fun environment. As well as introducing you to the basics the workshops aims to leave you feeling confident to continue to explore other courses and classes and also with the tools to begin your own personal practice.

MANAGING STRESS WITH MEDITATION & RELAXATION (Saturdays, 10.30am - 1.30pm)
We all experience stress from time to time but when it becomes prolonged constant it can begin to take its toll on our health and wellbeing. Prolonged stress can cause physical damage to the whole body, and also affect sleep, mood, appetite, energy and poor relationships with others.
Meditation affects the body in exactly the opposite way that stress does, restoring the body to a calm state, helping the body to repair itself, and preventing new damage. It has been proved to reduce heart rate and blood pressure, calm and settle the mind, help with insomnia and to have numerous beneficial physiological effects on the whole body.
In this three hour workshops we will be exploring several different methods of meditation. Not all techniques require you to sit in a cross legged position and to try to' calm the mind', and during the workshop we will explore some of these different techniques, using the different senses and movement and in doing so hopefully provide you with technique that will help you to significantly reduce your stress.

PERSONAL TUITION (INDIVIDUALS AND SMALL GROUPS)
Private sessions are available for individuals and small groups of up to four participants. This is a great way to get personal attention and focus, to work on specific issues or areas of interest and to have a bespoke yoga and wellbeing programme designed to meet your specific needs.
These session as well as providing a safe and private opportunity for reconnection with yourself are a wonderful way to also reconnect with and spend time with close friends and family, or for busy people who cannot make classes or for people with special needs to obtain the benefits of a personalised yoga program.
Sessions can take place in your own home - all you need is a space that is peaceful and quiet and has enough room for a mat. Most sessions are for one hour (unless longer is requested), and can be arranged at a time that is convenient for you. The first session is 90 minutes as it includes a full physical evaluation and assessmment and a discussion of general health and well being.
Subsequent sessions are built to suit your needs, providing you with home practice sheets to enhance and develop your health , wellbeing and practice.
Duration: 1 hour (additonal time available on request)
Cost: Individuals £40.00 (first session £60.00)

ONE TO ONE AND SMALL GROUP INTENSIVES FOR PREGNANCY AND PREPARATION FOR BIRTH
The One to One and Small group sessions have been specifically designed for the latter stages of pregnancy (30+ weeks) and are aimed at mums to be who would like to learn a few more skills or require some additional coaching in preparation for their delivery. It is never too late in pregnancy to add to your tool kit of skills and knowledge and these sessions are all about empowering mums with joy, laughter and gentle coaching and in doing so helping them to have a wonderful experience of pregnancy, birthing and delivery. These sessions are by appointment only and take place either at your home or at the studio at a mutually agreed time.
The One to Ones and group sessions are available as a one off booking, or as a course of sessions over the period of weeks leading up to delivery. These sessions are a great way to prepare for that happy event especially if due to work commmittments and pressures you have been unable to attend regular classes or courses and provide a great way to bond and share this special time with partners or friends who may also be pregnant.
