About Us
I have been practicing yoga since 1999, starting with Sivananda yoga in 2003 moving towards Iyengar yoga practice with my first dearest teacher Agnieszka Oleksyn. In 2004, I began assisting and later teaching in her Yoga Centre in Wroclaw. Since then my yoga practice and teaching has been inspired by Somatic Psychology and Ayurveda. Also, Vanda Scaravelli approach to yoga and the teachings of J. Krishnamurti has been a great influence to me. I was blessed to be able to learn from teachers like Richard Miller, Donna Farhi, Judith Hanson Lasater, David Frawley and Alan Finger who has been influencing my practice, teaching and approach to life.
Yoga changed me. It brought space, acceptance, energy and inspiration to my life. Yoga brings alignment, flow, sensitivity and freedom to my body and in my daily life. Metaphorically speaking, yoga gives a key and opens the doors to direct participation in the nurturing force that is already given. It is like a friend accompanying us along a journey, becomes a mirror which reflects what is as is. I appreciate these experiences from my whole heart and I am thankful to be able share them with others.
I began my yoga journey in the 80s with my cousin Cheryl Isaacson who was also a yoga teacher. When I was about twenty years old, life took me in other directions and my practice stopped. However I reconnected with yoga in 1999 and have been continuing ever since, exploring this beautiful path with my partner Halina. In 2011, we started on our Thai massage journey that became the practice of mindfulness and heartfulness for both of us. We are so grateful to be able to share this beautiful art with others.
