Asthma is a respiratory condition that causes difficulty breathing. When triggered, asthma causes sensitive airways that become narrow and trigger an attack on the lungs. Common triggers include viral infections, allergens and sudden weather or temperature changes. Signs of asthma include breathing trouble, a constricted chest, wheezing and coughing. Treating asthma is possible with drug therapy or naturopathy.
